Botany Bay

Botany Bay offers a lovely wave and perfect family setting with safe waters and nice surfing and works on northerly swells.

Folkestone East Cliff Sands

Sheltered from the full force of the wind by the harbour wall, Folkestone is best surfed in a south westerly or westerly wind. It is a good alternative to north Kent surf.  Beware of rocks at high tide. Suitable for the more experienced surfer.

Joss Bay, Broadstairs

Joss Bay is the premier surf spot in Kent and has also achieved blue flag status. Best surfed in northerly winds when the swell can average around 3ft. Please be warned that in the summer months Joss Bay can get very busy.

Stone Bay

Stone Bay offer a chalk reef surfing wave and is perfect for those looking for a more challenging experience and works on northerly swells.

St Margaret's at Cliffe

St Margaret's can often see more power from the channel than Folkestone but the waves are not as clean. Best surfed from a westerly wind but can equally work as well if it receives a northerly wind. 

Viking Bay

Close to amenities of Broadstairs, Viking Bay is a good starting point for novices. Viking Bay is known for it's wedge wave which is ideal for longboards, best surfed in a northerly swell and north westerly wind.
