Greatstone on Sea

Great Stone on Sea offers shallow waters, lovely sands and perfect Kite Surfing conditions.

Hythe

One of the premier spots to Kite surf in Kent. Hythe beach can be surfed in any wind direction but is best surfed in a south westerly wind. but please beware that launch can be difficult at mid to low tide.

Littlestone on-sea

Due to the flatness of the Romney Marsh, Littlestone on-sea sees a good consistant wind. Best surfed in either a south easterly or north easterly. but beware at low tide you may have to walk a good mile before reaching the sea.

Minnis Bay

Ideal for beginners as at low tide there is plenty of sand for people to practice on. Minnis bay is best surfed on a north westerly wind. Also the water can be shallow for half a mile out, making Minnis Bay the prefect location for people who are new to the sport. 

Ramsgate Main Sands

Ramsgate can experience some very strong tides at times and at high tide it is only suitable for the experts. Ramsgate is best surfed in either a south easterly wind or a north easterly wind.

Sandwich Bay

Like Hythe Sandwich can be surfed in any wind, although it is best surf in a south easterly wind. There is a charge for using the carpark, but in return you're receiving a well kept beach. Sandwich can also receive lighter winds which are suitable for beginners. Please beware that the car park has a toll charge. 

Whitstable

Whitstable was the first Kite Surfing spot in the South East, it was also a test bed for the sport worldwide and a number of famous Kite Surfers have originated from the town in the early days of the sport, including Chris Calthrop who was the first Kite Surfer to surf the huge waves of Jaws in Hawaii.
