Bewl Water

Head down to Bewl Water at Lamberhurst and start sailing with the RYA level 1 Sailing course for adults.  No previous experience is needed, as everything is taught from scratch.  This course will teach you the basics and also the essential background knowledge.  Learning the first steps to sailing is certain to be an exciting and enjoyable experience with Bewl Water.  Once you have acheived level one, there is an opportunity to move onto further levels.

Children, aged 8 and above are able to take part in the RYA Young Sailors Scheme.  This scheme encourages learning in a controlled, safe environment with a structured framework.  No time limits are given to each stage as it is appreciated that everyone learns at different rates.

Whitstable Yacht Club

Sailing courses at Whitstable Yacht Club are arranged on demand, 7 days a week.  3 hour taster sessions are available, as well as the 2-day RYA courses at different levels.  For more information and prices, please visit the Whitstable Yacht Club website.

Dover Water Sports

Dover Water Sports offer a range of adult and youth RYA Sailing Scheme courses. They also have weekly taster sessions so that you can have a go and see if sailing is for you. The courses are designed to build your knowledge, skill and confidence whilst ensuring that you have a lot of fun both on and off the water.
