Kent has ideal calm waters for learning to canoe, and various courses to get you started.

Bewl Water

Both adults and children, aged 9+ are able to learn the basics of canoeing at Bewl Water with a one day long, fun taster session.  If you'd prefer to go on a course to learn the skills, Bewl Water run British Canoe Union (BCU) accredited courses for beginners and improvers. Kent Canoes

Kent Canoes, located in Wrotham offer a variety of canoeing and kayaking courses.  If you're completely new to canoeing, why not try a half-day taster session?  Perfect for dipping your toes in the world of canoeing or kayaking.
